Update Aquatic?

this is my opinion on this but..... 
i think we should make a second map 
so we can all have water temples and stuff and all be happy the people who like the old map and the reset

Well.... 1.14 is said to be released sometime during Spring 2018. Which is March 20, 2018 - June 21, 2018. 1.13 should be released pretty soon.

1.13 is purely a technical update. No new features will be added, but it will probably break worlds and I expect that spigot (the server multiplayer software we use) will probably take a LONG time to get up to speed :/. On the positive side, they're making a lot of changes under the hood to standardize the blocks and the way game mechanics work, which (I expect) will make it easier for 3rd party software, like spigot, to update in the future (1.14 yay!).

That said, there's nothing stopping us from resetting the world before then, so like Mike said, keep talking and discussing what you would like to see (also things like spawn; biome portals, compass portals or something else; shopworld; etc.). We are thinking about things too and will take your thoughts into consideration!

I don't understand wanting to dual map with the current map we have... it's old enough as it is. Defeats the purpose of reset.

A dual map for 1.14 would make sense if we reset this map before then, then kept that map alongside another new map for 1.14.

Is there a cutoff time for the poll?

Ok, back in the day, i think the transfer from 1.7-1.8 was the cleanest. What they did was shut down the main server.
We did 1.8 vanilla for a while, and we loved it, when 1.8 was fully released (for us at least thx spigot) they made the vanilla map a seperate world, because so many people loved it. I think doing that again would be great, the server is kind of at a stopping point with sugar cane being one of the most valuable resources and people running out of room to build. So, that's just my 2 cents.
